Weekly Response #3 10.22

If you had to write a summary that would appear on the back cover of the book you are currently reading, what would it say?  (Try and get others interested in reading your book! Do a good job of "selling" it!)

  1. Im reading gym candy. Its a good book so far. Mick Johnson is a great running back but he goes through some tough losses on his way to success. His dad was also a football player that almost made it to the NFL. His dad is the main reason he plays football but im almost done with the book.

  4. New Moon - Bella has already gotten herself tied up with vampires, good and bad. But now she's involved with werewolves, too. These two types of monsters are enemies.. Will she have to choose between the two? Edward, the one she loves, is a vampire. But he left her. Jacob, her best friend who she really cares for, is a werewolf. And he's always here for her. Is the conflict for her going to become more than just emotional? And will both sides be able to save her from the evil vampire, Victoria, who is after her life?

    2. I actually don't think it was the 42nd floor now! It was confusing with the floors! I have finished this book now and it's really good, but it makes much more sense to read all the books in order. Otherwise it would just get confusing and you won't be able to guess at things like I did!!

  17. I'm reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. Harry and Ron nearly got expelled after riding a flying car to Hogwarts because they missed the train. Their car was spotted by Muggles while it was airborne. After the incident, they were stopped by Professor Snape, and then escorted to his office. They were punished with only a detention..... It could have been much worse, right?
