What has been your most favorite book you have read this trimester? What made you like it so much? Give a review of the book -- there are quite a few people that are looking for good books to read!
I don't have a favorite book I've read. I like them all the same. Any book I've read! But, still I think The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien is good. The Last Dragon Chronicles by Chris D'Lacey is also a very good series. My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult is a good book, but also very sad at the end. So there! These are all good books!! Also these are the ones I've read this trimester I think.
Also The Lord Of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien is good! I haven't got far but very good! If you were to read it you would probably want to read The Hobbit first!!
Tolkien's books have been good because I like the way he describes things and I like the adventures the characters go on! And I've only ever seen a little bit of a movie, not sure which one though! And I am hopefully going to see The Hobbit in Dec. with my dad, maybe brother, and uncle.
My favorite book this trimester would have to be Fallout by Ellen Hopkins. It was a great page turner. Its a realistic fiction book and it was written in verse. Its told from 3 points of view that are all brought into one. It is an excellent book.
my sisters keeper is the favorite book that ive read so far. because it was full of drama that wanted to make you keep reading.if i can read it and think it was good then anybody should be able too.
Well I don't really have a favorite book that I've read but my favorite series that I've read would have to be Ranger's Apprentice. It has actions in all of the books, like in the second book the kings daughter is with Will (rangers apprentice) and Horace (knight in training) when they have to set a bridge on fire in order to stop a massive army attack.Or in the third book when Horace and Halt go looking for Will and the princes after they've been caught by the Scandinavians when a knight seeks out Horace and Halt and then takes them prisoner until Halt challenged him in a battle to the death. This is why i have no favorite book because they just keep getting better and better.
my favorite book so far has been the rescue its about a girl that finds a dog that need medical help and the form a special bond it's cute and inspirational
My favorite book I read this trimester was probably "Five Little Pigs" by Agatha Christie. I liked this book so much because it was a mystery book and I like mystery. The book was about how someone died by poison and they think a certain person did it but there are five other people who could have done it.
My favorite book this trimester was called The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen. It's about a girl named Maci whose life changed after her dad died. Her mom only talks to her about school and expects to only care about school. Her boyfriend doesn't show any affection for her and goes to brain camp for the Summer. But when she meets Wes who understands how she feels she tries to change into who she wants to be instead of who her mother wants her to be. I liked it because it was interesting and made you want to never put it down.
I've been reading the same book all trimester. It's nearly 600 pages so it's taking me a while to finish, especially because it wasn't very interesting until the middle. I really like this book because of the drama and emotion that is put into it, you truly feel like the narrator. You can picture everything she sees, imagine the sounds she hears, and you can even feel her emotional pain. Maybe not to the full extent, but the pain is still recognized. The author, Stephenie Meyer, did an astounding job when writing these books. I'm only on the second book of the Twilight series, but I already can see what a talented writer she is. I just hope the last two books will be as strong as the first two have been!
The Maze Runners by James Dasher. The character in the story are in a town the sounded by a maze the can't be solved. They don't know who they are or why there are there. Until they find out it is an experiment where only boy live until the day after Tomas come in town a girl shows up. So they must find a way out!
I'm reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. Harry is beginning to have classes such as Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions, he also has many fanboys and fangirls throughout the school, such as Ginny Weasly and the DATDA teacher himself, Gilderoy Lockhart. Other than that, Harry's story continues on...
Gym Candy by Carl Dueker. The character gets hooked on steroids so he can get stronger for football. He ended up getting caught by his friend. He was a good friend for wanting to turn him in for safety. Mick decides to make some bad decisions. READ GYM CANDY NOW!!!!
My favorite book was Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. It goes through the tough times of school, like bullying and finding your true self. The main character was getting bullied and couldn't handle it so she killed herself even before the story begun. It's amazing how he wrote it because, it tells her suicide note and how it happened. He shows how struggles can be so hard that you just completely give up and take the easy way out. He tells how everyone can blame themselves if that one thing happens. This book touched me alot coz' i can relate to it, and the writing is just amazing. Read thirteen reasons why at your own concern because it will make you cry. But it gives you a new perspective on life, because the tiny things you do can make a huge impact on other's lives.
